Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Songy Family EyeCare a proud provider of vision care products and services in Luling.

Brock J. Songy, O.D.

Dr. Songy was born and raised in Kenner, LA and graduated from Gannon University in Erie, PA, in 2002. He received his Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA. He completed internships in New Orleans, LA, Columbia, SC, Scranton, PA, and Ridgefield, CT. After completing his training, he moved back to the New Orleans area and has been in practice since 2007. Dr. Songy specializes in contact lens fittings, bifocals, astigmatism, dry eye treatments, and the management/treatment of eye diseases. He is a member of the Optometry Association of Louisiana and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Songy is married and enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his dog, Hera. His in-laws live in Luling, and his stepchildren attended school in the area. In his spare time, he enjoys watching sports, eating, and traveling.
